ZVEZDA Sd. Kfz. 251/3 Ausf. B 1:35

Description

The Wehrmacht gave special attention to the units’ management and their cooperation. For the different levels of Army Corps special communications vehicles were produced based on the half-track Armoured Personnel Carrier Sd.Kfz.251 due to its cross-country ability anti-bullet armour and one or two machine guns for self-defence. Depending on the purpose this vehicle was fitted with extra radio equipment FuG 4 FuG 5 FuG 7 FuG 8 FuG 11 and FuG 12 radios in different combinations. Mast rod and loop antennas were used.
