Description
The Pololu QTR-8RC Reflectance Sensor Array is an infrared sensing module designed for line detection, edge sensing, and short-range proximity measurement in robotics and automation systems. It integrates eight IR LED and phototransistor pairs that provide independent digital outputs compatible with standard microcontroller I/O. Operating from 3.35 V, the array offers reliable reflectance detection with optimal performance at around 3 mm distance. Its compact breakable PCB design allows flexible placement and easy integration into line-following robots and embedded control systems.
