Description
Description
The MAX30102 Pulse Oximeter and Heart Rate Sensor is a compact optical biosensing module designed for measuring blood oxygen saturation (SpO2) and heart rate in embedded and wearable applications. It integrates red and infrared LEDs, photodetectors, optical components, and low-noise analog front-end electronics with ambient light rejection. Operating from a 1.8V core supply and 3.35V LED supply, it communicates via a standard I2C interface. The device supports software shutdown with zero standby current, making it suitable for battery-powered systems such as wearable devices, fitness monitors, and mobile platforms.
