Description
The Force Sensitive Resistor 0.5 Inch is a pressure-sensitive sensor designed to detect applied force through resistance variation. Its resistance decreases as force increases, with a no-load resistance greater than 1 M. The sensor features a 0.5 inch circular sensing area and a 2.54 mm pin pitch for direct breadboard integration. Built on a flexible substrate with peel-and-stick backing, it enables easy mechanical mounting. Ideal for pressure detection, touch sensing, and embedded input applications in prototyping and educational projects.
Note:As it states in the Integration Guide, doNOTsolder directly to the exposed silver traces. With flexible substrates, the solder joint will not hold and the substrate can easily melt and distort during the soldering. We recommend using amaleorfemaleclincher connector instead.
